Update on Documentation + openAAL 1.1 is coming soon
Finally, a first and incomplete tutorial is available in the documentation section. Also, the FAQ section contains some first entries. Please have a look and give some feedback to wolf@fzi.de. Of course, documentation and FAQs are going to be extended in the near future.
Furthermore, openAAL is now used in FZI's living lab AAL (see more at http://aal.fzi.de (only German)). The living lab integration experiences as well as all the valuable external user input forms the input to openAAL version 1.1 which is going to be available very soon.
openAAL v1.0 published
The new openAAL version 1.0 is ready!
That the new version trumps the old version 0.1 in nearly all technical aspects. It
- has cleaner interfaces,
- is easier to configure and
- supports even more standards - for example N3 and Turtle notation for specification of RDF (see http://www.w3.org/DesignIssues/Notation3).
Furthermore, openAAL is now available under the LGPL-license. As a minor drawback, though, it is not compliant to previous versions of openAAL.
Please find the new version at http://openaal.org/download in the download section.
